AlexMediaUK (“we”, “us”) provides audio, lighting, video and effects hire and technical support from Blackburn, Lancashire. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at hires@alex-media.uk or 07380 939649.
02What we collect
When you send a quote request we collect your name, email address, phone number, your event or venue, the details you give us about your event, the kit you have chosen and your hire dates. If you email or phone us, we keep what you send us so we can reply.
03How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your quote request, arrange and provide your hire, and keep the records we need to run our business and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, our legitimate interest in keeping business records, and — for optional cookies — your consent. We do not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
04How long we keep it

05Who we share it with
Your information is stored with our website host zFast and our email provider zFast, who process it on our behalf. If you accept marketing or analytics cookies, the providers listed in the cookies section below receive information about your visit. We may share information where the law requires it.
06Cookies and similar technologies
Essential (always on): your flightcase is saved in your browser so it stays while you move between pages, and the details you type into the quote form are kept until you close the tab. Your cookie choices are saved so we don’t ask again. If you log in to manage the website, WordPress sets login cookies. Optional (only with your permission): analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, help us understand how the site is used; marketing cookies, such as Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, let us measure our advertising and show you relevant adverts on other sites. Product videos only load from YouTube when you press play. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
07Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to you. Email hires@alex-media.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
